Explore our current exhibition Barbara Hepworth and Greece with one of our experienced guides and let them share their knowledge and passion for the works in this fascinating exhibition.
This exhibition demonstrates how a journey through Greece and its islands in 1954 renewed Barbara Hepworth’s artistic vision at a crucial point in her life.
Bringing together extracts from Hepworth’s diary from the trip alongside major sculptures, paintings, drawings and prints, the exhibition explores how the country’s radiant light, vibrant colours, dramatic landscapes, ancient architecture and elemental forces shaped her work.
Tours will last approximately 40 minutes and there is a limit of 15 participants.
The tour will not cover the historic house or the Print Room.
