This is a co-curated exhibition developed by students in Years 10–12 at Thomas Bennett Community College, Crawley, in collaboration with Pallant House Gallery. Choosing works from the Gallery’s collection, the students explored ideas of identity and belonging, asking fundamental questions about who we are, where we come from, and how we relate to the world around us.
The display brings together a diverse range of styles and media by artists including Henry Moore, Victor Willing, Ana Maria Pacheco, Celia Paul and Hurvin Anderson. Through close encounters with artworks and hands-on work with Gallery staff, the students developed their own interpretation labels and a deeper understanding of curatorial practice.
This exhibition is the third in a series of co-curation projects, celebrating shared creativity, diverse voices and meaningful engagement with the Gallery’s collection.
