Join us for a laid-back Studio session where you’ll have the opportunity to respond to our Pop and the Figure exhibition through movement and sketch, with an experienced dance teacher, KJ Mortimer.

Taking inspiration from the artworks on display, you’ll be guided through a series of simple gentle movement exercises that encourage you to explore ideas of the figure, gesture and expression in a supportive environment. As part of the session, you’ll have the opportunity to transform your physical responses into sketches using materials provided.

No previous experience is necessary. Whether you’re curious about movement, interested in drawing, or simply looking for a different way to engage with art, this workshop offers a welcoming space to experiment, observe and connect.

All drawing materials are provided. We recommend you wear clothing that allows for ease of movement throughout the session.

Pallant Café will be open throughout the evening offering a selection of drinks and food. You’re welcome to bring drinks purchased in the Café into the Movement and Sketch session.
