3 April – The Bloomsbury Look
This month we’re all about Bloomsbury style and how this artistic group expressed themselves and their ideals through their clothes and appearance.
Join art historian and former curator of Charleston Wendy Hitchmough as she discusses her book ‘The Bloomsbury Look’ with a chance to pick up a signed copy following the talk. Get creative with drop-in life drawing in the galleries led by drawing tutor Martina Ziewe or book onto our relaxed drink and draw workshop in the studio where you can create artwork inspired by the Bloomsbury aesthetic while enjoying a drink from our bar.
Theres also the opportunity to join a guided tour of our Dora Carrington exhibition to find out more about how Carrington was connected to the Bloomsbury set as well as how she uniquely expressed herself through her style.
