What’s On?
We’ll kick off the New Year with an introductory talk on Dora Carrington: Beyond Bloomsbury by exhibition curators Anne Chisholm and Ariane Bankes in January. Join award-winning figurative artist Wendy Barratt in the galleries for Bloomsbury inspired life drawing.
Patternmaker and textile printer Sarah Burns joins us in February to share her expertise and inspiration, whilst the Young Pallant Artists deliver a tour of their co-curated exhibition of screen prints.
As we leap into Spring we focus on the natural world with conservationist and folk singer Sam Lee, who will share his book The Nightingale in word and song. Drop-in creative activities and a studio workshop are provided by University of Chichester students, responding to the theme through dance and creative writing.
In April we’re joined by art historian Wendy Hitchmough with whom we will explore The Bloomsbury Look and you will have another opportunity to experience Bloomsbury inspired life drawing in the Gallery with life drawing tutor Martina Ziewe.
