The Gallery is open until 8.30pm one Thursday per month from January to April, so you can take in our collection and exhibitions after hours and enjoy expert talks, tours and drop in creative activities in the galleries. Pallant Café will be open serving a selection of food and drink and the Bookshop will be open to browse fabulous art books.
Admission to exhibitions is free if you purchase a ticket for a talk or studio workshop, otherwise it is half price entry.
6 March – The Natural World
An evening of activites inspired by our exhibition, Maggi Hambling: Nightingale night.
Conservationist and acclaimed folk singer Sam Lee will be sharing the story of the Nightingale through word and song. Move to the sound of nightingales in a unique movement workshop with dancer Rosaria Gracia and sound artist Hazel Reeves. Take a journey around our galleries led by University of Chichester Creative writing students sharing their responses to the theme. Join our head curator for a special guided tour of Maggi Hambling’s Nightingale Night.

- 6-7pm The Nightingale with Sam Lee Performance (Gallery Admission included in talk ticket)
- 6-8pm Movement Workshop in the Studio (Gallery Admission included in workshop ticket)
- 6.15-7pm Poetry and prose tour of the galleries with University of Chichester Creative Writing Students.
- 7.30-8pm Curator led tour of Maggi Hambling: Nightingale Night.
3 April – The Bloomsbury Look
We’re joined by art historian Wendy Hitchmough with whom we will explore The Bloomsbury Look and you will have another opportunity to experience Bloomsbury inspired life drawing in the Gallery with life drawing tutor Martina Ziewe.
