School in Residence: Summer Exhibition

This exhibition celebrated the work of schools who participated in our School in Residence programme in 2023.
Designed to build confidence, develop critical thinking, and inspire a love of art, this programme supported schools to deliver engaging creative activities. Five weekly visits to the Gallery concluded in the display of final artworks in our Studio in summer 2023.
From ceramic responses to our recent Sussex Landscape Exhibition, to 3D sculptural vessels inspired by the shapes and colour in Howard Hodgkin’s Grantchester Road, this exhibition was a wonderful chance to showcase the talent of young creatives.
In 2023 we were delighted to host the work of pupils from Jessie Younghusband Primary School, Havant and South Downs College, Downview Primary School and Warblington School.
