Join us for a fascinating talk with the Booker prize-winning author Alan Hollinghurst in conversation with our director, Simon Martin.

Alan Hollinghurst is best known for his novels The Swimming-Pool Library (1988) and the booker-prize winning The Line of Beauty (2004). He has also written the introduction to our exhibition monograph, Glyn Philpot: Flesh and Spirit.

Tickets to the talk cost £15 and include a glass of wine.

Summer Late with Chichester Pride will coincide with the end of the talk and you are more than welcome to join the festivities in the gallery. Find more information below. Please note, tickets for Summer Late with Chichester Pride are not valid for the Alan Hollinghurst talk. 

 

Bio

Alan Hollinghurst is an English novelist, poet, short story writer, and translator. He is the recipient of numerous awards for writing, including the 1989 Somerset Maugham Award, the 1994 James Tait Black Memorial Prize, and the 2004 Booker Prize.
