Bring your memories of the local landscape to life with the help of artist Lynn Weddle in this creative, hands-on workshop.
We will create our own large-scale memory maps of our stories from around Sussex, draw, and collage objects and scenes to create a beautiful hand drawn memory map.
Your child may bring in an image of their favourite place as inspiration during the workshop.
This workshop is suitable for ages 7-11.

Artist bio: Lynn Weddle
As a photographic artist with an MA in photography, Lynn’s practice has spanned 17 years exploring human interaction through moving ‘still image’ and traditional photographic methods, identifying ways of presenting people through portraiture.
Lynn Weddle’s facilitation practice has led to working internationally running arts based projects, residencies and commissions in partnership with the British Museum, Tate Modern, National Maritime Museum, Photovoice, Photoworks, Fabrica Gallery, Focal Point gallery, Towner, Four Corners, HIV Alliance, Save the Children and Pallant House Gallery.

What to wear?
Make sure to come in comfortable clothes, some activity will be on the floor and you might get a bit messy.
