Join us for a fun festive workshop. Create a felt bauble while exploring how different cultures create symbols of hope, protection and good fortune during the winter season. Makes a lovely Christmas gift!
Children will cut circles from felt and layer different colours to create the traditional Greek eye motif. They will then add embroidery, sequins or metallic thread before stuffing and sewing closed.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 7+.
Parents or carers are not required to stay for these workshops, although you are welcome to do so should you prefer.
Please provide a packed lunch for your child.

Charlotte Cranidge is an artist and creative learning practitioner with over 15 years of experience creating and delivering workshops, projects and events across galleries, museums, cultural organisations and healthcare settings.
Her work focuses on creating playful, inclusive and engaging experiences that encourage curiosity, conversation, storytelling and experimentation. Drawing inspiration from art, history and unique collections, Charlotte develops creative activities that invite participants to explore new ideas, experiment with materials and develop their own creative confidence.
As an artist, Charlotte’s practice is rooted in painting and printmaking, with a particular interest in exploring the possibilities of everyday materials and unconventional creative processes. She brings this experimental approach to her workshops, encouraging participants to embrace the process of making, discover unexpected outcomes and express their own ideas.
