Children’s Workshop 7+ | View Through a Window

£25

[ Children )

This event has passed.

Be inspired by the view from your own window and the many stunning views on show in our current exhibition.

Looking for activities for creative kids during February Half-Term? Join us for this fun workshop where the children will be able to have a go at different painting techniques, pens and collage to recreate views seen from their own windows or inspired by some of the works in our exhibition, Sussex Landscape: Chalk, Wood and Water.

The workshop will begin with a look at the beautiful landscape images in the exhibition and some creative tasks in our sketchbooks to warm up. We will talk about our own experiences looking at landscapes, maybe on walks or around our homes. Back  in the studio, we will  have a go at creating our own landscape from memory or a photograph, as though we were looking at it from our window.

We suggest you bring a photo of a view from your window at home. All other materials will be provided.

This workshop is suitable for ages 7-11.
