Immerse yourself in the world of clay with exhibiting artist Phoebe Cummings.
In this exclusive workshop, Phoebe Cummings will take you to visit her exhibition, I hear myself with my throat, before demonstrating a range of hand building techniques for working with clay.
Phoebe will provide each participant with one-to-one support in developing a collection of small individual pieces. She will show you how to work with raw clay, how to shape realistic sculptures and how to put together a still life composition that can then be photographed or drawn. All materials will be provided.
As Phoebe works with unfired clay, your clay pieces will not be fired as a part of this workshop. We can provide you with boxes to take them home with you.
