Join artist Dominique Kenway for a relaxing and creative day of creating lino print blocks for printing your own Christmas cards, labels and wrapping paper.
During the workshop Dominique will instruct you in designing your print blocks, using cutting tools to carve your image and practice mark making techniques which you will then print and take away.
All attendees will be provided with hot tea, coffee, water and mince pies throughout the day. There is also an option to purchase a lunch box from Pallant Café.
Our workshops take place in the gallery studio located on the ground floor by reception.
If you have any further questions, or would like to discuss access needs, please do not hesitate to contact Rachel our Events Officer r.bingham@pallant.org.uk
Please note
We will have a selection of festive images and objects to inspire you, please feel free to bring drawing, designs, or images you would like to carve. You could also bring your favourite ornaments or decorations to work from.
We can supply soft cut lino for those who might need it, as working with lino can be difficult on your hands for a long period of time.
Please wear suitable clothing, as the inks can stain.
Price includes the cost of tuition, all materials and teas, coffees and mince pies, plus entrance to the gallery and all our exhibitions on the day. Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements and we will do our best to cater for you.
There is an option to purchase a Lunch Box provided by Pallant Café, this will be delivered to you during the break. The lunch box is £13 and a menu will be shared with you at the start of the workshop to make your selection.
Please ensure we have the correct contact information for you in case of any last minute changes.
