We’re open until 8.30pm one Thursday each month (except May and November), when you can enjoy our collection and exhibitions after hours, with talks and workshops, free tours and creative activities, and live courtyard music from June to September. Pallant Café is open serving food and drinks, and the Bookshop is open with art books, prints, and gifts. 

 

Join us iMarch for a Thursday Late exploring William Nicholson’s connection to the theatre world.

Hear from Jane Pritchard, Curator of Dance, Theatre and Performance at the V&A, in a special talk about how William Nicholson’s creative imagination leapt from the canvas to the stage, and how his theatrical designs reflect the wider story of performance, art, and innovation in the period (tickets sold separately – BOOK HERE). 

There will be a Library show and tell session, a curator’s tour of William Nicholson, drop-in life drawing with Wendy Barratt and a Studio drink and draw workshop.

6-7pm               Talk: Nicholson and the Theatre with Jane Pritchard (tickets sold separately) 

6-8pm               Drop-in Life Drawing with Wendy Barratt 

6.30- 8pm        Drink and Draw Studio workshop (tickets sold separately) 

7.30-8pm         Guided tour of our William Nicholson exhibition 

Admission to the gallery and exhibitions is free if you purchase a ticket for a talk or studio workshop, otherwise admission is half price.
