Join artist Kaye Donachie and our director, Simon Martin, for a fascinating conversation about Kaye’s first solo UK show, Song for the Last Act.
Experience the work of Kaye Donachie, the contemporary artist whose breathes new life into the stories of early twentieth century avant-garde women. In a conversation with director Simon Martin, Kaye will share her inspirations, her creative process, and the emotional connections she forges between her subjects and viewers. Together they will explore her distinct colour palette and use of light and how Kaye’s atmospheric paintings capture the essence of a bygone era, reimagining the lives of often-marginalised modernist performers, actresses and poets.
There will be a book signing after the talk until 7:30pm, giving you the chance to meet Kaye and purchase a copy of her new book.
Tickets cost £15 and include a glass of wine or a soft drink.
