Join us in celebrating the Festival of Chichester with a recital from prize-winning, international pianist Elena Toponogova.

Take your seat in the unique setting of our art store and enjoy a 50 minute performance entwining Sussex’s musical heritage with timeless classics.

Arnold Bax, ‘O Dame get up and bake your pies’

Sergei Bortkiewicz, ‘The Angel’ and ‘The Clock’

Sergei Rachmaninov, ‘Two Musical Moments’ and ‘Etude-tableaux’

P.I. Tchaikovsky, ‘Intermezzo’ from the ‘Nutcracker’ Suite

How to book?

Whilst entry to the performance is included in Gallery admission, we recommend you secure your spot by pre-booking online. It’s the best way to guarantee your place, as this event is expected to be very popular.

You simply need to book a ticket for Gallery entry on the day of the music event (see above). When you add a Gallery ticket to your basket, the performance will be suggested as an add-on.

You will have the option of a ticket with a £5 donation or just a free ticket on top of your Gallery admission. Your donations help to ensure that we can continue to provide you with top-class performances throughout the year.

Bio - Elena Toponogova

Elena is a graduate of the Royal College of Music and a prize-winner in international competitions in Italy, France and the US. Elena is a concert pianist and chamber musician based in London. Her repertoire is primarily comprised of Russian music, with a particular focus on the music of Nikolai Medtner. She recently won the prize for the best performance of a Prelude and Fugue by J S Bach of the Nuova Coppa International Piano Competition, Italy.
