Bring your baby and enjoy a relaxed guided tour of Caroline Walker: Mothering with one of our Curatorial Team. Discover Walker’s paintings exploring the unseen labour of motherhood and childcare with your little one.

This tour will last around 45 minutes and is most suitable for those with infants and babies not yet on the move! Seating will be available and floor mats will be provided for babies.

Ticket price includes access to all exhibitions.

Arrive early and enjoy 10% off in the Cafe before the Babes in Arms tour. Café opens at 10am.

Dr Melanie Vandenbrouck

Dr Melanie Vandenbrouck is Chief Curator at Pallant House Gallery. Formerly Curator of Sculpture 1900–Now at the V&A and Curator of Art Post-1800 at Royal Museums Greenwich in London, she has led major contemporary art initiatives. Her wide interests include the porosity between artforms and the ways in which art and identity intersect, focussing on collecting work by women artists and photographers. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Trustee of Time and Tide Bell, she holds a PhD from the Courtauld Institute and trained at the École du Louvre, Sorbonne University in Paris, and Sussex University.
