Richard Hamilton: Ways of Seeing in a Modern World

[ Online Talk )

This event has passed.

Whilst the doors are closed on our exhibition ‘Richard Hamilton: Respective’, our Head of Exhibitions, Louise Weller, brings the exhibition into your home as she shares the themes and ideas behind the artworks.

A leading figure in British Pop Art, Richard Hamilton, was fascinated by the way images are constructed, experimenting with source materials and technical processes and exploring the impact they have on the viewer.

In this day and age, when we find ourselves engaging with ever more sophisticated imagery, are Hamilton’s ideas as relevant as ever?

This talk will be delivered via Zoom. Everyone who books a ticket will be emailed a recording of the talk a few days later, even if they were unable to attend the talk live.

Once you have booked your ticket, instructions on how to join the event will be emailed to you 24 hours before the talk takes place, so do keep an eye on your inbox. If you have any problems accessing the talk or have not received the link to the talk by 5pm on Thursday 25 February, please contact
