Discover the story behind artist Habib Hajallie’s groundbreaking exhibition, Penned into History.

Join Hajallie and assistant curator Miriam O’Connor Perks online for an in-depth conversation about his practice.

Hajallie’s art in ballpoint pen addresses the historical absence of diverse figures in British portraits. In this online talk, learn about his unique approach, his impact as artist in residence, and the creation of his monumental artwork The Large Collectors, now part of the gallery’s collection.

Engage with Hajallie directly with your own questions and discover more about his work as a contemporary artist.
