Friends’ Friday

Join us for our next Friends Friday on Friday 12 December, a relaxed and uplifting morning designed especially for our Friends. This quarterly series offers the chance to come together, enjoy inspiring talks and start the day immersed in art and good company.

For this event we’re delighted to welcome Rupert Toovey, long-time supporter of the Gallery, auctioneer and valuer of fine art and antiques, and writer. Rupert’s talk is titled ‘Sussex Artists – Sussex as a Centre of Art’, and will explore the county’s vibrant artistic heritage and the figures who helped shape it.

We’ll also be joined by Nick Higbee, our Pallant House Bookshop Manager, who will introduce a selection of festive favourites and exhibition-inspired treasures to bring a little seasonal joy to your shopping.

After the talks, we invite you to stay for coffee and biscuits, with time to chat and connect with fellow Friends.

Friends Friday takes place from 10–11.30am in Room 11 at Pallant House Gallery. Even though this is a free event, you must book as our Friends Friday events are extremely popular and we expect a waiting list. We look forward to welcoming you!
