Ignite your child’s creativity with a seaside adventure inspired by John Craxton.
Join us for a memorable workshop where young artists will dive into the world of art inspired by the sea. Drawing inspiration from Craxton’s work, Hotel by the Sea, kids will cut, layer, and overlap shapes to craft their own unique coastal scene.
Using vibrant papers and cards, we’ll fashion buildings, mountains, beaches, and oceans that pop with clear, bold colours. To personalise this creative voyage, we invite children to bring images of their favourite places, allowing them to give their artwork a touch of their own treasured memories.
Dive in with us and watch your child’s imagination come to life in their own seascape masterpiece!
The workshop is suitable for children aged 7+.
Things to note
We advise that children wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting a bit dirty.
Please provide your child with a snack and drink.
We will be taking photographs during the workshop, if you would prefer your child not to be photographed, just let us know.
