Adult Workshop | Introduction to Drawing Digital Portraits
[ Workshop )
Join us in our Studio for a creative digital workshop inspired by Glyn Philpot: Flesh and Spirit.
Bring in a photo of yourself, take a wander through the gallery and our temporary exhibition, Glyn Philpot: Flesh and Spirit, and be inspired to create a unique digital portrait using a tablet.
Led by local illustrator, Diane Dunning, you will delve into digital drawing techniques using pencils, fineliners and watercolours on the MediBang Paint app on a tablet. The end result will be a fun and experimental portrait that shows each participant’s individual personality.
Participants will need to bring their own tablet and download the free digital drawing app MediBang Paint programme before the workshop. Please bring a tablet pencil if you have your own or the gallery can provide these for whoever needs one.
The Gallery has a few iPads for the workshop and these will be available on a first come first serve basis. Please contact Holly Riddle on email@example.com to have this reserved for you on the day.
The workshop is run by Chichester-based illustrator Diane Dunning. Diane has a background in collagraphy, digital illustration and mixed-media design and commercial experience working in digital design, education and art within the community.
Diane’s Illustration is often inspired by the characteristics, nuances and personality of animals together with the wider beauty of nature. Her work is quirky, playful and light and she uses her Instagram page as a key central platform that allows her to connect with the wider creative world and receive feedback and inspiration from creators and art lovers across the globe.
