Creative Health & Wellbeing
Creating and viewing art is scientifically proven to have a positive impact on both physical and mental health.
The Gallery offers two opportunities per month to connect with art and experience the wellbeing benefits that engaging with art can have. These sessions are open to all and are suitable for those with or without specific access needs. These sessions are dementia-friendly and have a relaxed and supportive nature.
Creative Conversations
Creative Conversations is an opportunity to look at and discuss selected art works at Pallant House Gallery. Share your thoughts and enjoy hearing other people’s responses. There are no right answers; all thoughts and ideas make a valuable contribution to the discussion.
Wellbeing Wednesdays
Join our new creative wellbeing sessions led by an experienced Artist Educator. Taking inspiration from the Gallery’s collection, take part in mindful creative activities and explore different techniques. No previous experience is required and all materials are provided.
Whether you are looking to try something new or are curious about the wellbeing benefits of art, you are welcome to book a space at one of our Creative Health and Wellbeing Sessions. Booking is essential via the website or Welcome Desk. Please do let us know in advance how we can make the session more accessible for you.
If the sessions are fully booked on the website and you are a local support worker working with someone who would like to attend, please email e.robson@pallant.org.uk.
