Devised and creatively-led by learning disabled and marginalised artists, the 'Gold Run' will culminate in a multi-media performance piece, incorporating film, music and visual art to be performed in three prestigious venues in the South East, including the main stage at Glyndebourne and Pallant House Gallery in Spring 2012.
Following the live performances the work will be transformed into a digital installation, Gold Run:Re-Mix, which will be exhibited throughout the Olympics in a gallery just outside the Olympic Village, before touring as part of Pallant House Gallery's Outside In initiative.
The Challenge will open at 10am on Monday 6th December 2010 and run for only five days. Donate on the first day if you can to have any donation you make to Gold Run (up to £5,000) doubled by unlocking match funding from the Big Arts Give. Funds are limited so please donate from 6th December to help us make the most of this fantastic opportunity.
