The Learning and Community department at Pallant House Gallery works directly with teachers and schools to provide a broad programme of activities that is open to all. We have created a range of supported and self-led visiting options, which we hope will give any pupil or student group the flexibility to visit and view our Collection.
The Schools Programme is currently under review and we hope to launch a brand new programme in autumn 2016.
The gallery is a unique learning environment where everyone is free to question and consider our Collection of Modern British art and respond either creativity or through discussion. The Gallery has developed collaborative projects with many local schools which often provide an opportunity for students to showcase their own practical work in the Gallery's spaces.
All teachers are welcome to make a free (pre-arranged) visit and for support and advice on the best visit for your group and topic aims our Learning Programme Manager is always on-hand and happy to help. All pupils 16 years and under can access the gallery for free (please be aware that it is essential to pre-book before making any form of group visit).
