The Pallant Community Workshops provide a supportive environment where everyone is valued and respected. They enable people with differing needs to take part in creative activities, learn new skills, meet other like-minded people and gain confidence in visiting the Gallery and participating in art workshops. There is a team of skilled and experienced volunteers that support each workshop.
"Everything feels like it's gelled for me doing this. I was always interested in colours and shapes. I would go on coach trips with my husband and I would stare out of the window at things - but now I am able to express things more. I didn't realise I had such a lot of ideas." Participant
The artists who lead the workshops use the Gallery, its collections and exhibitions as inspiration to explore a range of approaches and techniques. Artists usually stay with the Community Workshops for three consecutive worshops enabling the participants to fully explore each project.
Please note these sessions are for members of the Community Programme unless otherwise stated. To book your place contact Community Programme Manager Lucy Greenfield on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07788 489 536.
