The core of Pallant House Gallery's 'collection of collections' is 20th century British art which includes the Hussey and Kearley bequests and the Wilson Gift donated through The Art Fund. The Collection is housed in a unique combination of a beautifully restored Grade One listed Queen Anne townhouse and an award-winning contemporary extension designed by Long & Kentish architects in association with Colin St John Wilson.
Founded in 1979, the Friends' considerable support through fundraising, donations and sheer enthusiasm for seeing the Gallery develop, has helped to see the fruition of a unique and lively cultural, learning and community resource. By becoming a Friend you will help us ensure that Pallant House Gallery continues to be the foremost collection of Modern British art in the South.
