Now in its 18th year, the National Open Art Competition is the premier competition in the United Kingdom. Pallant House Gallery is proud to host a display of the winning works following its successful launch at London's Somerset House. This year has seen the highest ever submission of drawings, paintings, original prints, photography, wall-hung installations and digital art. The 2014 panel comprised Royal Academicians Norman Ackroyd RA and Chris Orr RA, Caroline Irby and Vanessa Branson. Among others, past judges have also included Brian Sewell, Barbara Rae RA and the late Maurice Cockrill RA.
