An exhibition celebrating the centenary of the visionary artist Robin Ironside (1912–1965). A self-taught painter of Surrealist fantasies, Ironside was also a designer for the theatre, respected art critic and curator, who became Assistant Keeper at the Tate Gallery and Assistant Secretary for the Contemporary Art Society. This will be the first museum exhibition of the artist's work for over 40 years.
