A trip to Tate Britain to see an exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. ‘Aftermath’ looks at how artists responded to the scars left on Europe after the Great War, documenting its destructive impact and building of public memorials. This visit complements Kate Aspinall’s art courses at Pallant House Gallery and will feature an introductory talk by Tate Guide and Accredited Arts Society lecturer Val Woodgate. £41 (student, over-60, NADFAS member £39, Art Fund member £33.60/£33.10, Tate member £24.60) includes tea/coffee on arrival, an introductory lecture, buffet lunch and timed tickets for a self-guided tour of the exhibition.
